  ICOS was awarded prizes in two categories in ITAPA 2008 contest with Digital Council project. 2. Place in Best Case Study category – eFocus prize 3. Place in Processes Improvement category Prizes were taken over during ITAPA ceremony.
Digital Council is an application designed for municipal government such as higher regional government, town councils, local authority. It creates computerized process support for document workflows related with preparation, course and the results of the councils. It improves the effectiveness of the council related processes and accelerates and streamlines them. This application as the first in Slovakia implements for municipal government and council members computerized support of council preparation and processing the council results.

ICOS, a.s. Košice is a member of Kosice IT Valley Association since half of the June 2008. As a member of the Association our company provides the possibility to educational organizations to improve the educational processes by the means of providing resources, practical experiences using IT products in the area of ERP systems – Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Oracle E-Business Suite. | Microsoft Industry Awards 2008 |
It has been the second time that our company was awarded in “Microsoft Industry Awards” competition for the best solution in Slovak Republic for the year 2008, namely in the following category: The Best Solution for our state administration and self-governments - Digitálne zastupiteľstvo / Digital Assembly II. The award is given by Microsoft Company to its partners, who develop solutions and application on Microsoft Company platform and use new technologies for their customers’ solutions. The evaluation criteria in the process of individual solutions selection was especially the scope of projects and their benefit for the customer. Košice, Feburary 16 – On Monday, February 18 assembly members of Košice Autonomous Region (KSK – Košický samosprávny kraj) are going to hold their meeting via Digital Assembly for the first time. The new voting system is going to be used for the first time, too. It is a unique project in the environment of Slovak self-governments.
On Monday, February 18 assembly members of Košice Autonomous Region (KSK) are going to have their 16th meeting of KSK Assembly. As far as SITA agency was informed by Zuzana Bobríková, KSK’s spokesperson this meeting would be carried out using Digital Assembly application, i.e. via electronic documents installed in laptops.
